ONLINE PILATES & MINDFULNESS CLASSES
MOVE & IMPROVE
TUES 7PM- 8.15PM
A mixed ability class that mindfully moves through various exercises that are excellent for improving posture and mobility, reducing tension and strengthening the muscles that help keep the body in good alignment. You will be offered variations where possible enabling you to work to your own ability, meaning this class is suitable for beginners as well as those with experience.
The movement part of the class will be followed by a 15 minute session combining meditation, mindfulness, gentle movement meditation and breathing exercises for deep relaxation. Excellent for helping calm the mind and reducing stress.
REFORMER ON THE MAT
SAT 10AM- 11.10AM
During this class you will learn a range of movements which have been newly adapted to the mat using a Pilates Resistance Cord. The Pilates Resistance Cord with handles helps target muscles while allowing you assistance to pay attention to form and control.
You will need to purchase the pilates resistance cords for this class which can be found on the APPI online store. You can purchase the light, medium and strong bands but if you're on a budget then please start with the just the light and medium bands.

All you'll need is a mat, cushion, scarf or resistance band and we advise wearing comfortable clothing that you can move freely in. If you are doing the reformer on the mat class you will need the pilates resistance cords, details of which can be found in the class description.
If you are joining for 1 class, please purchase a single class pass If you purchase a 6 or 10 class pass we will email you a pass so you can mark the classes off as you go and keep track of how many you have left.

I started doing Tina's classes at the beginning of lockdown and have stayed doing 2 classes a week every week since.
The content has been great, not overwhelming but just difficult enough to be challenging. I found it a great motivation during a weird time as it gave structure to my week. Tina's teaching is very easy to follow online and I really enjoyed the classes especially when she added in an extra dimension with the Reformer on the mat class with resistance bands.
The pilates classes are great. I started doing them during lockdown and it really saved me. I had something to look forward to and enjoyed pushing my body each session. I was so happy when I performed different exercises better each week and noticed my body getting stronger. Tina is a fantastic instructor and keeps you right throughout the class and has beginner levels and advanced levels, so everyone can get involved. Highly recommend these classes and Tina overall is a such a lovely, friendly person. Plus, the prices are hard to beat.
The classes help me immensely with my Arthritis and Fibromyalgia. I can go at my own pace and have now got to the stage where I can go so much more than I did at the beginning. My muscle tone has also improved greatly.
