What type of information do you collect?

1-When you contact us via our website

If you contact us via our website, your name and email address is stored on our wix platform online database. These details are not accessible by anyone other than the owner of Natural Roots Wellness and will not be passed on to third parties. Your email address will not be used for marketing purposes, unless you have opted into receiving our promotional emails. When you contact us via the contact form you will automatically receive an email saying your message has been received and we will get back you you as soon as we can. If you object to receiving these automatic emails then please get in touch so alternative methods of contact can be discussed. 2- When you book a treatment online

For our online booking system we use an app called Fresha. When you make your booking you are required to set up an account. These details allow us to view a log of your past visits and future bookings, which you can also view yourself on your account. Your email or phone number will not be added to any mailing lists. When you make your booking you will receive an email confirmation and an email reminder 24 hours before your treatment. After your treatment you will also receive a thank you email. If you object to receiving these automatic email responses then please get in touch to make your bookings as they can also be made via telephone.

3- When you buy a gift voucher in our online store

Our company website is hosted on the platform. provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our gift vouchers to you. Your data may be stored through’s data storage, databases and the general applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

When you purchase a gift voucher via our wix online store we use Paypal as our payment gateway All direct payment gateways offered by and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers. Seeing as payments are managed by paypal we do not have assess to any card details when you make your payment. We are only provided with a report that states your address, email address and amount paid. We will only use this information to provide you with your voucher via email or post. Your email address or postal address will not be added to any mailing lists.


4- When you pay for your treatment by card


When you pay for your treatment in the centre by card we use a system called izettle. We are able to print off a report of the treatments that have been paid for via our i zettle system. This report simply states the amount of card payments we received and the amount but it does not state your card details. We do not have access to or store your card details anywhere in our business. Payments are never taken via the telephone and are therefore never recorded anywhere. Receipts for treatments can always be provided if requested.

5- When you subscribe to our mailing list


You can opt in to receiving our mailing list on the homepage of our website. If you do this, your email address will be added to our online database and will be used when we send out our marketing emails. This is generally done once a month but you may occasionally receive more. When you subscribe you will automatically receive an email to confirm your subscription. If you have not opted into receiving our marketing emails you will not receive these emails.

6- When you complete a Consultation or PARQ Form


We ask clients to fill out a Consultation or PARQ form This asks you for name, address and phone-numbers and has a health information section. It also asks you to agree to a list of terms and conditions. These questions are asked to ensure you are suitable to take part in exercise or have a massage.


To be able to do our job as therapists, we need to ask you information about health conditions and injuries. It is very important you give accurate and current information to us, and keep us up-to-date with your state of health.


PARQ & Consultation forms are stored as paper copies in a locked filing cabinet at the business premises of Natural Roots Wellness. They may at some stage be scanned and stored on computer. The computer will be stored securely with privacy passwords in place. These documents will only be accessible to the owner of Natural Roots Wellness but your therapist will have viewed the document when you complete the form.

Why do you collect such personal information?


We collect Personal Information for the following purposes:

  1. To provide and operate the Services;

  2. To provide our clients with ongoing customer assistance support;

  3. To ensure clients are suitable to receive massage treatments or take part in exercise

  4. To be able to contact our customers if there is any reason why an appointment needs to be rescheduled

  5. To be able to send our customers some advice via email if this has been discussed during your visit and you have agreed

  6. To comply with any applicable laws and regulations.


How do you communicate with your site visitors?


If you have subscribed to our mailing list we will send you monthly promotional emails. If you have not subscribed to our mailing list we may still contact you if we need to discuss something related to your booking, for example scheduling, confirmations etc but this will not be for marketing purposes.


How can your site visitors withdraw their consent?

If you don’t want us to process your data anymore, please contact us at If requested your details can be removed from our booking system but if you have received a treatment and filled out a consultation or PARQ form it in necessary for these forms to be stored for 7 years.

We reserve the right to modify this privacy policy at any time, so please review it frequently. Changes and clarifications will take effect immediately upon their posting on the website. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here that it has been updated, so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we use and/or disclose it.
